Sept. 13 – Drew Robinson Story

Our series kicks off with a presentation by former major league baseball player and mental health advocate Drew Robinson. Drew will speak about his personal journey after surviving a self-inflicted gunshot wound. As co-founder of the Better Universe Foundation and mental wellness advocate for the San Francisco Giants, Drew Robinson seeks to encourage and inspire others. He is the subject of a viral ESPN profile and E60 special.

Abuse prevention expert and best-selling author, Ashley Bendiksen, shares her remarkable story and expertise to address healthy relationships, personal boundaries, abuse prevention, resilience, and leadership. As a survivor of abuse, trauma and homelessness, Ashley inspires others to impact change through personal development and agency.
On October 25 Ashley will address our students and the community.
Feb. 22 – Dr. Justin Dodson
Hook Theatre @St. Agnes-St. Dominic

An expert on mental health, Dr. Justin Dodson is a native Memphian who has worked with populations ranging from children to professional athletes. His areas of expertise include adolescent and adult mental health, trauma, crisis intervention, and group and family therapies. On Thursday, February 22, Dr. Dodson will address students and families as he shares his expertise on maintaining a healthy relationship with social media and how interactions within those spaces can impact mental well-being.
