Message from the President

Called to be Christ’s light.
At St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School, we are more than just a school: we are a community of faith called to be Christ’s light. I see so many ways the educators and students are living out that call every day. I am filled with joy and gratitude when I think about what we have accomplished as a school community, and I am excited about the possibilities ahead.
Academic Advancements
- The Class of 2025 has been accepted to 99 different colleges and universities from Maine to California and they have earned over $15 million in scholarships.
- Upper School educators are hard at work designing and refining lessons in preparation for the transition to a block schedule next school year. We are confident that this new schedule will better support our student's academic and personal growth as well as their social and emotional wellness.
- Lower School and Jr. High educators have dedicated significant time to mapping and evaluating the curriculum to include modern strategies for instruction and learning, and introducing innovative approaches that will prepare students for an AI-integrated future.
- The Upper School is hiring an Upper School Learning Specialist to better meet all our students’ learning needs. We are also adding several new courses, including creative writing and freshman AP human geography, as well as collaborating with CBHS to offer an aviation program starting next year.
- We’ve completed the first year of learning in our new Math and Science Building. Educators have enthusiastically embraced this new space, creating engaging lessons, exciting labs, and innovative projects that challenge students to think critically and creatively. This is also a sought-after space for small group gatherings, enhancing student connection.
Building for the Future
We are now moving into Phase II of our Capital Campaign with fundraising ongoing for the Athletic Fieldhouse, set to break ground in the fall. This new Fieldhouse will provide a dynamic athletic space enabling us to host more games, practices, and events, as well as a space where athletes can train, compete, and thrive.
Looking Ahead
Interest in our community is strong, with increased enrollment for the fourth consecutive year. Many classes are at capacity, with wait lists. Our academic programs are thriving, our students are growing in faith and kindness, and the educators continue to provide the leadership and love that our children need to fulfill their potential. Truly, God has blessed us!
We are shaping futures and sharing the light of Christ in ways that transform our community and the world. I invite you to visit our beautiful campus and see how your child can benefit from a St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School education.
Peace,Tom
