The Best Christmas Pageant Ever-You Don't Want to Miss This Show!

With the holiday season beginning, we will all need a break from our busy lives. I can’t think of a better way to do that than seeing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever on the Hook Theatre stage. I have been given the opportunity to be a part of this production and through rehearsals I have watched this show turn into a masterpiece.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a performance you do not want to miss! It is about a family of six rowdy children, the Herdmans. They decide they want to attend church because they heard that they would receive refreshments. However, the people who attend the church do not like the idea that these children want to come.
When someone swoops in at the last minute and takes over the directing of the annual Christmas pageant, the Herdmans decide they want to be involved. What will happen? Will the Herdmans ruin the pageant? Or worse, will the Herdmans ruin Christmas?
The cast, both Lower and Upper School students, ranges across all ages, showing that “there are no small parts, only small actors”. The past few months watching this show come together has been fantastic--the people here never fail to amaze me. Their skills and talents are truly astounding.
Not only has the cast put in work, but the tech and crew have worked hard every rehearsal to make the performance complete. This show has brought out many personalities and friendships.
The cast truly is warm and welcoming, and every rehearsal is filled with smiling faces. The directors, Mrs. Neal and Miss Rebecca, are wonderful people and continue to help us improve day by day. So, begin your holiday season with a heartwarming and hilarious performance of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
