Exploring and Learning in Costa Rica

18 Jun, 2025
Upper School students from St. Agnes Academy kicked off their summer with a two-week trip to Costa Rica as part of the LaSalle Colegio-SAA-CBHS Cultural Exchange Program.
While in Costa Rica our SAA students lived with host families from LaSalle Colegio, attended classes, and immersed themselves in the Costa Rican lifestyle. Highlights of the trip included exploring San José where they toured the National Theater and National Museum of Costa Rica. A trip to the province of Cartago included the Irazú Volcano and Orosi Valley Coffee Plantation!
St. Agnes has participated in this cultural exchange program since 2015. This study abroad program offers our students the opportunity to grow and improve their Spanish language skills while engaging in and enriching their knowledge of Costa Rican cultural and building relationships.
