Rising St. Agnes Senior Named to Dexter USBC All-American Team

Rising St. Agnes senior Anna Osias has been named to the Dexter Bowling High School All-American Team. Five male and five female high school members are selected nationwide for the All-American Team each year, with the student-athletes selected receiving a $1,000 scholarship.

Selection to the Dexter High School All-American Team is based on bowling accomplishments, academic achievement, letters of recommendation, and extracurricular/community involvement. Anna was the only student-athlete chosen based on her accomplishments as a junior-the other four females on the team were seniors.

Anna was recently recognized at a ceremony in Bartlett for both her qualification for the Junior Gold Tournament and her accomplishment of being chosen for the Dexter USBC All-American Team. Anna was also recognized this past weekend at the opening ceremony of the Junior Gold Bowling Championships in Indianapolis, IN.

Anna is the captain of the St. Agnes Bowling Team and was named MVP of the team last year.  She was a Miss Tennessee Bowling Finalist (Runner up) and held the highest average in West Tennessee Division 2 Girls Bowling (160 average with a 205 high game.)

Anna is carrying a 4.27 GPA while enrolled in multiple honors and AP courses.  She is the recipient of The Paul and Charlotte Clark Scholarship for Excellence in Art for the 23-24 academic year and received the Presidential Service Award for the 22-23 school year. She is a vital member of Calliope Art & Literary Magazine staff, serving as Chief Editor (23-24), Art Editor (22-23), and Secretary (21-22.)

She is the Founder & President University of Memphis Campus School Alumni Initiative and has served SAA as a Marketing & Communications Department Student Contributor. Anna was elected to be Public Relations Officer for the Class of 2024. We are so proud of Anna and cannot wait to see her additional accomplishments over the next year!
