Living Legacies

08 Apr, 2026

As part of the school's 175th Anniversary and our Alumnae Week celebration, we recently took a photo that included all students who are the children of St. Agnes or St. Dominic alums. With more than 150 students participating, this was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our strong alum connections!

The number of SAA and SDS alumni that have chosen to send their children to our school is a testament both to our rich history and the current strength of our community. It gives us a great reason to pause and appreciate the extraordinary work that happens on this campus every day, and to reflect on the legacy we continue to build.

In addition to the impressive number of alumni children we have enrolled, equally remarkable is the number of alums who have returned to our campus to further their careers. Thirty of our current educators are alums-ranging from the Class of 1975 to the Class of 2020.

Furthermore-many of our alums wear both hats: parent and educator. Jeni Davidson Clement, a 2014 graduate, currently serves as St. Agnes Lower School Learning Specialist and is parent to PreKindergarten student Jude and future SAA Star Julia.

She shared this with us: “From the moment I first felt called to become a teacher, returning to St. Agnes was always part of my vision. I hoped to give my students the same strong Catholic education that shaped me during my time here. Having experienced that high-quality education firsthand, I wanted nothing less for my own children—my son, Jude, and, in a few years, my daughter, Julia. I have always trusted that SAA-SDS would provide a loving, supportive, and academically rigorous environment where they can truly thrive.”

These examples remind us that legacy is not just preserved in archives, it is alive and visible on our campus each and every day!
