The Communications Department at SAA-SDS is excited to partner with three Upper School student contributors this year! This talented group of SAA juniors will help us tell our school’s stories from the student perspective. We look forward to working with them and letting you hear their voices.
We asked them to introduce themselves so that everyone can meet them before you begin to see their work. Here is what they had to say!
(As pictured, Left to Right)
Hi! My name is Emma Mungle, and I have attended St. Agnes Academy since Junior Kindergarten! I play volleyball and tennis, and I swim. I am one of the Spirit Week Coordinators for our class and have been for the past two years as well. I am Event Coordinator for the Spanish Club and a member of many other clubs including Ducks Unlimited and Key Club. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching football (especially the Ole Miss Rebels), and listening to Taylor Swift! I am very excited to work with the Communications Department this year to express how much this school means to me, and how truly wonderful our community is!
Hi, my name is Cinthia Torres. I’m so excited to be a student contributor this year! I have attended Saint Agnes Academy since the 10th grade. I am co-coordinator of the Upper School Book Club and Secretary of the Blessing Blanket Club. I run Cross Country, play Softball, and do many other things! Outside of school, I enjoy participating in youth councils and organizations such and Bridges, Shelby County Youth Council, and Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope. From the first tour I took, I immediately knew that this school was the place for me. I’m so excited to see what Saint Agnes has in store for me in this upcoming school year!
My name is Meryl Cochran. I have attended St. Agnes Academy since the seventh grade. I am an SAA-CBHS cheerleader, a retreat leader, the Spanish Club coordinator, and a member of many other clubs! I am a huge Ole Miss fan, and I love hanging out with my friends on the weekends! I am so excited to have an opportunity to showcase all the amazing things at St. Agnes through my role as a Student Contributor. I want to share with our community the ways this school has impacted my life, showing me the importance of leadership and sisterhood.
