Sweet Sixteen for the Stars Golf Team

The St Agnes Academy Varsity golf team won their 16th straight Division II-AA Regional Golf Championship at Timber Truss Golf Course on September 28! The team of Anna Heck, Grace Denegri and Selby Haney defeated Briarcrest, St. Mary’s, Hutchison and St. Benedict to win the title. SAA Sophomore Anna Heck was medalist for the competition shooting a 74. The Stars advance to the state competition in Manchester, Tennessee on October 12 and 13. Go Stars!
The golf team is coached by Cynthia Giannini.
