National Honor Society Inductees

01 Oct, 2025
Forty-eight members of the Class of 2026 were formally inducted into the Aquinas Chapter of the National Honor Society on September 29.
National Honor Society, the premier organization for high school scholars, represents the pinnacle of a student’s achievements in high school. It is both a public recognition of accomplishment and a private commitment to continued excellence on the part of the new members.
Students who attain a cumulative GPA of 3.67 or higher over six semesters are eligible for membership in our chapter. Membership is based upon the following qualities:
SCHOLARSHIP means commitment to learning, which continues even when formal education ends. Knowledge is the one element in life that leads us to the highest success.
SERVICE is the willingness to work for the benefit of those in need, without monetary compensation or recognition. The National Honor Society member is committed to the idea of volunteering her time and ability to the creation of a better tomorrow.
LEADERSHIP is the willingness to yield one’s personal interests for the interest of others. A leader takes initiative in class and in activities. A leader helps others attain their objectives. A leader has self-confidence and will go forward when others hesitate.
CHARACTER is the force within each person that distinguishes her from others. By demonstrating respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, and caring, we achieve character.
To earn membership, each eligible student must complete a formal application and submit an essay detailing the ways in which the four qualities of scholarship, service, leadership and character apply in their daily lives, Congratulations to these young women who are the 2025 National Honor Society Inductees:
