Maye Edwards Named Miss St. Agnes '23

02 Mar, 2023
Congratulations to SAA senior Maye Edwards who was selected as Miss St. Agnes 2023. Caroline Weems was first runner up and Ellie Schubert was second runner up. Ladies-in-Waiting were Paige Jerit, Olivia Sicuro and Ava Rose Whidden. Maye and the other members of the court were honored at the annual Miss St. Agnes Dance which was held February 25 at Chickasaw Country Club.
Miss St. Agnes is a special honor bestowed annually since 1946 on a senior who has been nominated by her classmates and voted on by the student body. The nominees exhibit integrity, strength of character, and respect for self and others, as well as a devotion to St. Agnes that is exemplified by leadership and support for the school.
In addition to the Miss St. Agnes Court, each class also votes for a representative. Class representatives were Meredith Thompson ’23, Emily Farm, ’24, Bertha Ayala Avila ’25, Annabelle Lawler ’25 and Olivia McCullough ’26.
