SAA Senior Attends the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts

05 Jul, 2022
SAA Senior Abby Pyrdom recently had the privilege of attending the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts to study dance.
Students are selected through competitive auditions for this three-week summer intensive program. The pre-professional curriculum includes individual and group instruction designed to help rising 11th and 12th grade students explore and develop their talents.
Of her time there, Abby shared, "The time I spent attending the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts was one of my favorite experiences regarding dance. I received amazing guidance from a variety of teachers who helped me grow technically and artistically. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity I was given to spend so much time doing what I love."
