SAA Appoints New Lower School Dean

After completing a nationwide search, President Tom Hood is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jenn Wojcik as the next Dean of St. Agnes Academy Lower School. As an educator with over 25 years of experience, Ms. Wojcik stood out as an experienced, dynamic leader who is passionate about Catholic education.  

Ms. Wojcik is currently serving as the Dean of the Upper School at Royal Palm Academy, a PK-8 Independent Catholic School in Naples, Florida. In this role she is responsible for all academic and student life activities for grades 4-8. She previously served as Dean of Faculty for four years.

Prior to moving into Administration, Ms. Wojcik taught middle school Literature & Language Arts and was the Language Arts Department Chair. She earned her B.S. in Secondary Education in Language Arts, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and earned a Master’s Degree in English, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama.  Before joining the faculty at Royal Palm Academy, she was an English instructor at The University of Alabama and at Florida Gulf Coast University, teaching composition, business writing and American Literature. She has two sons, Grant, a sophomore at Florida State University, majoring in History as a pre-law student, and Pierce, a senior at St. John Neumann Catholic High School in Naples.

"She is a gifted administrator who partners with faculty, parents and students to instill a solid foundation of faith, a genuine love of  learning, and a confidence to take risks. I look forward to working with such an inspiring educator who embraces our Dominican values and mission as we lead the school forward."

“I am truly blessed to be moving to the beautiful city of Memphis and to have been entrusted with the important role of Dean of St. Agnes Academy Lower School,”said Ms. Wojcik. “I am grateful and excited to be a part of the school’s rich Dominican tradition and history, and I look forward to the work we will do together to provide our girls a solid foundation to become confident women of conviction, courage, and compassion. From the moment I first set foot on your campus, I could feel a community of faith and family alive and at work, guiding our young people to discover their passions, gifts, and talents and collaborating to make a positive difference in our world.”
