SDS Alumnus Earns Perfect ACT Score & Earns National Merit Recognition
10 Oct, 2018
Congratulations to St. Dominic alumnus, Jack Jerit, who has been named a National Merit Commended Student. Jack, a senior at Christian Brothers High School, also earned the highest possible ACT Composite score of 36 on the July test.
Nationally, while the actual number of students earning the top score varies from year to year, on average, less than one-tenth of 1% of students who take the ACT earns the top score.
Jack is actively involved in Model UN, Youth in Government, Honor Council, and a member of the Varsity Track & Field team. Jack is the son of Susan Dia (SAA Class of '87) and John Jerit.
