St. Agnes Academy senior Aubrey Bubrig has been named as one of the 2022 Girls Who Mean Business by the Memphis Business Journal.
An outstanding student and dynamic leader, Aubrey has been involved in leadership throughout high school, and as a senior she has served as the St. Agnes Academy Student Government President. Additionally, she plays an instrumental role in the success of the SAA Freshman Peer Mentor Program and is a highly effective Retreat Leader.
“Aubrey truly connects with people, across the board. Her empathy, kindness, open- mindedness, and ability to communicate well propel her to leadership,” said Joy Rice, St. Agnes Academy Director of Counseling. “I am impressed with her passion for academic and personal growth. She is energetic and engaged in all that she undertakes.”
Aubrey is also a member of the Pep Club, Key Club, Government Club, Spanish Club, and Christian Brothers High School Cheer Team. She is actively involved in her church youth group, teaches Vacation Bible School, and volunteers in the pre-school Sunday school program.
Next fall Aubrey will attend the University of Mississippi where she has been selected for the Chancellor’s Leadership Class. She plans to study Public Policy Leadership through the Trent Lott Leadership Institute and Integrated Marketing Communications
Girls Who Mean Business, sponsored annually by the Memphis Business Journal, recognizes young women in our community who exemplify excellence in school involvement, both academically and in extracurricular endeavors, as well as in community service and other ways they go above and beyond daily.
