The St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School Junior High program offers students a challenging, well-balanced school experience in a co-educational setting. The program seeks to inspire in each child a love for learning, an attitude of inquiry and a passion for truth. By implementing a developmentally responsive and relevant curriculum, students are able to engage in active, purposeful learning. The Junior High curriculum includes programs such as, the Great Books program, Facing History and Ourselves and Peaceable Schools, our conflict resolution program. In addition, our 1:1 laptop program keeps our students at the leading edge of technology.
A wide range of opportunities is available to encourage participation, creativity, and a sense of shared accomplishment. Students participate in activities ranging from theatrical and vocal music productions to performing in a rock band, from athletics to the visual arts, from weekly Mass to community service projects. Our students distinguish themselves through the many awards that they receive during their Junior High years, and our graduates go on to achieve many of the academic honors and leadership roles in high school.
Talented, dedicated faculty, school counselors and administrators value and care for students by guiding both their academic and personal progress, and our Director of Religious Education fosters the spiritual growth of our school community. By providing for the needs of all its members, the St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School Junior High promotes an environment that is inviting, supportive and safe.
