Our Community
Following in the Dominican tradition of service, St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School has always instilled a sense of community awareness and service in all students. Our students influence one another, as well as their communities and society with the strength of character inspired by Gospel values.

Around St. Agnes-St. Dominic campus, students continue to be involved in a variety of projects. Last year’s senior class logged a total of 14,486 hours of community service throughout their four years at St. Agnes. This year the sophomores in the Upper School are working hard toward their goal of $5,000 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The chairpersons of this project are Marie Bugnitz and Katie Milford. Currently, they are raising money by having classes compete among themselves by selling Snowmen for $1 each. The class with the most money raised will receive a reward.

The three senior Justice/Service classes are studying the Catholic Church’s Social Mission. By the middle of February, they will be working at their service sites three days a week during their class period.

The Lower Schools are involved in a Math-A-Thon to benefit St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Dominic’s is currently having their Math-A-Thon and St. Agnes lower school will be participating soon. By supporting this event, we will raise funds to help St. Jude in its ongoing fight against childhood catastrophic diseases.
