The Fine Arts
The
Visual Arts Department is committed to helping every student realize both their
creative and artistic potential. They will come to realize the importance
of art in their own life and in the community in which they live. Art is
central to life! The Performing
Arts Department offers opportunities for involvement in stage productions
as singers, actors, instrumentalists and vocalists. The 5th, 6th, 7th and
8th grades present a stage musical each semester. The Jazz Band is also
open to students in these grades, while the choral group offers singing
ensemble experience. All upper school students have the opportunity to study voice for a semester
and the option to elect more advanced study.
The Siena Performing
Arts Center (PAC)
The PAC is an intimate performing arts venue with state-of-the-art sound
and acoustics systems. The theater is also equipped for multi-media presentations
and includes a LCD projector in the light and sound booth, a retractable
screen and dataports for hyper studio and other presentations. The Center is used for school performances, lecture series, and as a venue
for performing arts organizations in the community.

BRAVA is a parent group that supports the St. Agnes Upper School students’ explorations in the Fine Arts.
