St. Agnes Academy Soccer
TSSAA Fall Season Sport
Coach: Bobby Ireland
The
St. Agnes soccer program strives to instill in each student-athlete the
importance of personal commitment and teamwork while developing individual
skills and maximizing physical fitness. Junior Varsity and Varsity levels
of instruction and competition provide the best opportunity to evaluate
a player’s ability and strengthen the skills necessary to maximize
her potential. Players are assessed in a tryout setting where physical ability
and skill level are the key criteria for determining team placement. The
Junior Varsity level allows developing players to continue improving critical
skills while exposing them to a more demanding training regimen and a
higher level of competition. At the Varsity level, players are committed
to the highest level of training and the most demanding game schedule. A major emphasis is placed on performance
and adaptability in competitive environments. St. Agnes Academy competes in
the Large School, West Region of the TSSAA.
