The St. Agnes Golf team is a program rich with great tradition. A great tradition that has not grown overnight. It has taken the hard work and dedication of many people over the years. Many records have been set and awards have been won by individuals and teams. Further distinction has been earned at the regional and state competition levels. St. Agnes golf practices many hours individually and as a team – match play is offered at the city, regional, and state levels. The golf team carries six positions – only three girls are allowed to play each match. Individual scores are counted for medalist positions and then the two lowest scores are combined to make our team score. Being a member of the golf team carries with it a definite responsibility to contribute to the athletic tradition of our school, thereby gaining personal satisfaction. The St. Agnes golf program believes in commitment, courage, sportsmanship, and responsibility combined with personal skill can and will produce the type of athlete that brings honor to our student-athlete, school, and community.
