TSSAA Winter Season Sport

Bowling is played in the late fall, and concludes before exams in December for grades 9 –12.  The STARS home lanes are at Imperial at 4700 Summer Ave. This is a competitive team. Try-outs are usually the week after Labor Day with practice 3 or 4 times a week.  The season begins the first week after Labor Day with practice or matches 3 or 4 times a week.  The state tournament is the last week in January.  If you are interested in trying out for the team or need further information, please e-mail Carolyn Adcock.

08-09 Accomplishments
Regional and State Tournament runner-up.
Tori Henson, Sarah Hill, Rachel Shaw, and Holly Tate competed in the State Singles Tourney. Tori Henson placed second and was also chosen as the Tennessee Bowling Proprietor’s Female Bowler of the Year.
Tori and Sarah Hill made the All-Metro Best of the Preps Team and Tori is the All-Metro Female Bowler of the Year

07-08 Accomplishments
Finished 3rd in the region and qualified to go to the State tournament.
Faye Rosenberg bowled in the state Individual tournament and was a 6th place medalist and she was selected for the Commercial Appeal's "Best of the Preps".

06-07 Accomplishments
Regional runner-up and came in 3rd at the State tournament.
Amy Jones was in the individual state tournament and finished 10th.  She was selected for the Commercial Appeal’s  “Best of the Preps”.
