St. Agnes Lower School
For
grades 1-6, boys and girls maintain a similar curriculum in classes that
are girls only and boys-only. This allows greater attention to be given
where needed and avoids well-documented learning barriers, allowing both
groups to grow at their own pace. Curriculum is challenging, including mathematics and science at all grade
levels, as well as religion, language arts, social studies, fine arts, music
and physical education. All students have opportunities for experiences
ranging from graphics design to woodworking, from theatrical productions
to public speaking, from soccer and volleyball to aerobics and folk dancing.
Students at all levels have access to computers and to school counseling
on preparing their academic futures.
