Religion
The goal of the Religion Program is to foster in the students an awareness of and a sensitivity to God’s presence in their lives. Since this presence of God is recognized generally through interaction with others in daily life, the students are provided with a community which is striving to live Christ’s ministry as found in the Gospels. Such witness is encouraged through daily prayer, the study of the Sacred Scriptures, Church history and doctrine, and service to others. Respect for the religious preferences of all students is fostered and encouraged.

Language Arts
Students participate in a developmental reading program, which gradually intensifies the application of phonetic skills. The program is designed to foster an appreciation and enjoyment of reading throughout life. The study of spelling, vocabulary development, English grammar and composition equips the students to express ideas logically, with clarity, force and originality, in both written and oral form. The literature program emphasizes the integration of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and learning of research and study skills in meaningful contexts. The Language Arts Program also includes instruction and practice in full utilization of the library.

Mathematics
